Today is the first day of 2012. Happy New Year.
How do you say that? Twenty twelve, two thousand twelve or something else?
I have mixed emotions about the coming year. I am a teacher in limbo which means I'm effectively unemployed - I'm on the bench. What will I do this year if I don't get a job?
Maybe I'll write a book. Maybe I'll learn to touch type. I would like to get my head around this blog-thing. I would also like to set up a 'wiki' - whatever that is! I would like to read a few books, keep a diary, develop my gardening skills and continue improving my vegie garden, plant another fruit tree or two, get fit, get back on the bike and ride more, learn more about Australia, learn how to weld, fix my trailer, tidy my shed, get a bigger shed...
This year has some potentially massive things that could happen. Declan is one of those things! Will he come or won't he? If he doesn't, life could be quite stable and fairly normalish! If he does come, life will be anything but normalish - it will hopefully remain stable no matter what happens though. This may be the subject of my book.
Anyways, this is my blog - DAMOS. Initially it will be a bit random, more ramble than purpose, for my own enjoyment and your curiosity!
I hope Declan comes. Have you heard any more from Linn? Twenty twelve sounds right.
